ABOUT THE PLAY

Zoé Zifer is an actress, producer, director, and lover of multidisciplinary art. She was a 2024-2026 Production Apprentice at The Apollo. Across mediums, she focuses on intersectional work inspired by her lived culture and rooted culture. SILVANA SALAZAR is an Argentine-born singer, dancer, and actor based in New York City. A proud AMDA graduate (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy), her performance credits include singing with the New York City Gospel Choir for Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You Tour, appearing in the Warner Bros. film In the Heights, and performing Off-Broadway as a lead in Twelve Angry Women with AlphaNYC Theatre Company.

A seasoned salsa dancer, she continues to create multidisciplinary work that bridges movement, voice, and storytelling as tools for connection, presence, and awakening.​​​​

MARTINA DEMAIO is an Argentinian-born actor, writer, and producer based in New York City. She is the co-founder of REacting Theater LLC, a company dedicated to uplifting immigrant and bilingual voices through original short-play festivals such as Short Play Series Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 (Caveat NYC).

Her recent theatre credits include Prudence (LATEA Theatre), Mercy (A.R.T./NY), Mayonnaise Rizadas & Gatorade (La MaMa), Big Wave (The Tank), Polaroid Stories, Dance Nation, The Tempest, Winter’s Tale (Lester Martin Theatre), and The Grönholm Method (CEFOA Theatre). ISABEL CRIADO is a multidisciplinary theatre artist based in New York City who wants to tell diverse stories that voice the experiences of multicultural immigrants.

A graduate of The New School’s School of Drama (BFA, with Honors), Isabel has developed a rich body of work spanning directing, stage managing, and performing across both classical and contemporary productions. As a performer, most recent credits include Anthony Y Cleopatra’s Cleopatra for Elsewhere Shakespeare (Art Barrio Space), Midsummer Night’s Dream’s Hermia (Under St. Marks) and Viola in Prague Shakespeare Company’s production of Twelfth Night.

Juan C Ortiz is a NYC-based actor, dancer, writer, and director. His recent stage credits include The Cherry Orchard (NYC & Italy), The Seagull, and Culturally Cool. With screen work in The Eternal Night, Tarro, and directed, starred, and choreographed the award-winning short Dance Therapy. Back-up dancer for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie at Madison Square Garden. Hip-Hop champion in Colombia and Mexico, stage combat certified, bilingual, and always ready for the next story on stage, on screen, or on the dance floor.

JULIETA TIMOSSI born in Buenos Aires in 1990. She graduated from the Actor Training Program at EMAD (Escuela Metropolitana de Arte Dramático) in 2013, and from the Playwriting Diploma Program at Centro Cultural Paco Urondo (University of Buenos Aires) in 2020. Among her previous theatre work as an actress, notable productions include: En tus últimas noches (written and directed by Francisco Lumerman), Puro Papel Pintado (written and directed by Francisco Lumerman), Vago (written and directed by Yoska Lázaro), Lo prohibido (final EMAD project, directed by Guillermo Cacacce and Iride Mockert, 2013), Poema ordinario (by Juan Ignacio Fernández, directed by Lisandro Penelas), El gato no vuelve a casa (written and directed by Nahuel Martínez Cantó), and Gueto (by Juan Pablo Troncoso, directed by Francisco Lumerman – Archidrama Festival, Chilean Embassy, 2018).
